WODKA OR VODKA - THE FIGHT IS ON

Marketingboss member Yves Schladenhaufen, who is an international sales and marketing director with Wyborowa SA, Group Pernod Richard (https://www.xing.com/profile/Yves_Schladenhaufen) submitted this interesting commercial arguing that there is no V in Wodka. Interesting concept, don’t you think?

It is only a linguistic methamorphosis over time from the “W” in Wodka to the “V” in Vodka in English speaking countries. But that is a pointless discussion…because nobody really cares about the actual origin of w(v)odka. It is Poland if you ask the Polish, it is Russia if you ask the Russians. Just look at the success of Grey Goose, Skyy, Finlandia or Absolut…none of them from Poland or Russia.
Cheers everybody!
Wyborowa Single Estate is still the best stuff on this planet!
