Can your own unique internet video show format work for your brand?
If traditional internet advertising doesn’t work for you. If you’ve experienced with advertising via various video-based channels with little or no succes. If you are looking for new ways to engage your target audience in a unique and relatively compelling way, creating your own unique internet (video) show may just be the thing. Similar to the Momversation channel seen below.
Lately I have come across a couple of video show properties, including Momversation (http://www.momversation.com/), which is one of the better examples of a unique channel targeting a specific target group.
Where Momversation seems to be the product of a media company with an objective to attract advertisers, brands might benefit from embracing the same concept - only owned and controlled entirely by the brand itself.
Logically, brands would need to do the Return on Marketing Investment calculation, however if your brand is already attracting a large following on your own, or any third party social network/community, I - for one - believe that there is a grand chance that your initiate might turn out very successful.
In the near future we will see many more initiatives in this field. Question is, will yours be one of them?
